so it means afraid of gay people?
or fear of people?
homosapeins are people
so fear of gay people or just people?

The word "homo" comes from the Greek root which means "same," like "hetero" means "different." Homo(same)sexual(gender/sex attraction). Hetero(different)sexual(gender/sex attraction).
Homosapeins, however means "same man," meaning same species(correct me if I'm wrong), I believe. So homosapeins would be humans.
