Well, it's warmer today, but on Saturday (day after solstice) I went outside at 4am to have a celebration and it was raining, which put out my candles. T_T

Ohohoh! The telling people thing is only about spells. Most of mine aren't worth jack anymore. But there ya go. It's Midsummer on Friday and I have to go to school. It's a religious holiday! I have to celebrate before sunrise Saturday instead. Hmph. Two weeks off for Christmas, but not even a day off for Solstice. T_T

Kay... I was in Glastonbury this week with Charlotte (my stepmum-but-not-really-and-also-to-be) and my dad (getting my dress fitted) and I was reading one of the many Wicca books on her bookshelf in the attic bedroom. It was talking about Witches being "in the broom closet", not admitting and the author said that secrecy USED to be a rule, 'cause of the life-or-deathness. Which is why that'd be included in the older books, like you said. I had a cool week... Bought a guide on being Emo from Gothic Image (it didn't say a single thing about harming, lotta stuff about Pete Wentz, though...) and a badge from The Magick Box which said "Doing my part to piss off the religious right" and saw my baby cousin and lil cousin and stepsister. They're all soo cute! The baby cousin headbutted me by accident and I got a fat lip, a cut on the inside of my lip from accidental biting and red bitemarks on my lips. She moaned a bit 'cause her head hurt slightly. Hmph. (Not that I'm sad she's unhurt, but she REALLY whacked me...)

Well, it's been sunny all week and last night it rained seriously hard. Tis mental... Also, I wnet on a school trip to this village and we were doing a pollution survey on this river and a girl in my class fell in.... Apparently it was funny, I didn't see. But my friend really doens't like this girl. So I don't know... It's amazing how much spare clothing people had. There was spare pants, spare tee shirts, spare shoes&socks and one person was wearing waterproof trousers over her sweatpants.... I was stunned....

I watched Eurovision song contest and stayed up to sunrise yesterday... I woke up in a pile of duvets, sleeping bags and pillows on my friend's bedroom floor...

How was your week&weather?

Nah, I showed her my first Wicca book (turns out it was called Spells For Teenage Witches) 'cause they're having a Handfasting ceremony (how are you supposed to keep it secret after that?) and we chatted about it (about the laws, the theism and getting ribbons, pentacles, altar-sized tables etc.)

Yah, I definitely have new books. 'Real Wicca for teens', 'Paganism for teenagers' and another by Marina Baker, Witchcraft for teens or something. All very new. Although, my mentor typed person hasn't said anything. She's technically my stepmum, but I call her Charlotte.

Everyone is making my brain hurt today! I've reread them AND visited wicca.com and come up zilch.

Also, I have two essays, a scientific poster and a front cover for DT work due tomorrow and haven't started any. Plus, my friend says "If you try to fail and you succeed, you succeed in failing which lessens you failure, but..." She went on for a while. I almost ran for the bus without her. This was her at her sanest... =/

well i read a book describes other religions as well its called celtic magic. yeah it has other religions in it as well...kinda. o.o
anyways.i am only half way through though...i explore different religions too! =]
its interesting how all of them are connected somehow, but are different in ways.
its surprising that none of the three books you got told you to keep it secret. that's the first rule i learned. maybe you got untrustworthy books. =/ but maybe not..just reread the book. maybe it'll tell you somewhere..

I have three books on my practices and have fully explored www.wicca.com and have found nothing on being secretive. Anyway, the only law is to not hurt anyone (and the law of threefold return, but that's to do with that.) Where did you find I needed to keep it secret? I enjoy exploring religion. I don't know much generally about religion; I'm 12. I generally learn from my stepmum-but-I-don't-call-her-that and she tells people. I am intrigued. Please reply!
