My name is Marla & I am a young at heart grandma of 9, retired & also a watercolor artist!!

Born of & raised of German ancestry in the midwest (Wisconsin) on the shores of lake Michigan, now living near Yosmite National Park!

My spouse of 47 yrs is also a watercolor & pastel artist.
Good thing we are retired & not dependent on sales as we truly would be "starving artists"!
It keeps us busy & off the streets, so what more could one ask for! LOL!!

We have 2 adult children, 9 grandchildren & 3 furry little kids .....a 17 yr. old abysinnian & a 3 yr. old siamese, & Tuesday Morning is now about 7 months old ...haven't figured out what breed she is yet! She looks like an oriental short haired mix of some kind. She has marbleing & is tri colored, has big paws & really long hind legs & tail!!

Hello,

I was sorry to read that you had to have a skin cancer
removed! Was it melanoma or basil cell? I have had
a couple basil cell lesions removed. Blue-eyed blonde
here! Be sure and follow-up, regardless of the type.
Skin cancer is nothing to mess with, for sure!! I will
send up a prayer, my friend!
