Well I got home a lil while ago from the hospital & I need 2 sleep. I'm so sorry you had 2 go thru so much w/your grandma. I know you asked a while ago how they found out about the cancer, if it was causght in a test or what b'cuz you keep up with blood text's ect personally 2 try 2 keep yourself safe from getting it & trust me Ash that's the smartest thing I can think of to protect youorself.. personally I quite honestly was'nt checking or having a reg pap or any of the thing's I should have done but none of that would have caught it anyway.. it was by FORCING my dr to do regular blood test's to check 4 any problem's showing up. Once my kidney started hurting November & I asked 4 blood test's then.. he blew it off until 3 month's l8r when I had 2 get pissy to get the bloodwork done.. my white blood cell count was off the chart's 4 a lupas patient & hmmmm.. he blew that off 2, did'nt tell me the result's until I saw him apprx 2 month's later, when I heard the true test result's I made him.. do another blood test. I Dont think he even read the result's of it, I had 2 call at least a dozen time's b4 I got his nurse who said some of the #'s were way off again. The red blood cell count was HIGH. I called & set up an appt. 2 deal with this.. now he's been our dr for over 11 year's & in a small town that mean's alot. he cares about us as ppl not just patient's but he went way 2 far during that visit & yelling (not loud but more badgering me I guess) until I was so mad I could either hurt him or loose it & bawl like a darn 4yr old. anyway.. I'm havding trouble keeping my eye's open so I'll try 2 finish this quickly.. let's just say I got soooooooooo mad he did the blood test's again to shut me up then sent me to a specialist who took 1 look at them & came about 3 min's 4 him to tell me it was bone marrow cancer & the lupas of course plus another bloo disorder that causes the body to make twice the blood it need's. Even after takiing out 3 pint's & me taking the chemo pill which kill's off some of the extra red blood cell's but today they told me that I'm making it faster than they can remove it. so all they can do is try to keep up. Well hon, I've been typing this message to you forever. I've fallen asleep twice in the middle of it. lol so It's beyond time to send it on. sorry if it doesnt make alot of sense.
