Good morning – this is not just a greeting –
It signifies a hope – that the beautiful morning
Will bring a smile on your face and
Happiness in your life!
Just remember that every day is blessing,
When we appreciate our life.
Have a blessed day.
Hello and good day to all of you. I have been away from here
For some time ….. a long time due to illness and spent
A lot of time in hospitals due to multiple complications which
Appeared out of nowhere. I am home now but not in the
Best of health. This is my current situation :-
My heart functions at 57 %
My kidneys are only 60 %
My haemoglobin count is at a very minimum level
It just would not increase
Parts of my spinal cords are degenerating at an alarming rate
Causing nerve problems too.
Whatever it is … we have to see the positive side and
Carry on with ou lives …. In the best way we can.
Thanksgiving is over and Christmas is fast approaching.
A New Year is fast approaching …. And we will be hoping
To make new resolutions and face the challenges that
Will define our lives in the days ahead.
Hello my Dearest Sissy,
Thank you for stopping by. It's been a while since I've stopped by GG. I hope you're doing well and giving yourself a nice break from tagging. Perhaps, 2020 will bring our tagging mojo back! lol
Sending you loads of Love, Hugs and Kisses and have a beautiful weekend Sweetie.
I just came across one of my recent thanksgiving offers that you voted & commented on this morning, so I went ahead & made one for you, hope you like it, it should show up here shortly :) Your welcome for the love it tag, so glad you like it, thanks again for requesting :D
That's what I thought that thanksgiving was more of an american holiday, & I debated on sending you a comment referring to it, but figured since you were celebrating with us, thought, why not, lol :D That's nice that you follow the day with a small gathering with your near & dear ones. Glad you had a great time & I agree it is something we should be feeling every day of our lives, as we have so much to be thankful for :)
Your welcome for the compliment on your Caron Vinson tag, speaking of which, love the new one you uploaded too, if your taking requests, I'd love to have one of those also with Pami added please, it's beautiful, I'll be voting & commenting asap, no hurry though, as I know your busy, thanks. I know what you mean about it being too late for an upload for thanksgiving 2019, maybe save it for next year, just a thought :)
Thanks for the compliment on my page, love your thanksgiving page too, great work!
Jacob is doing well & thriving in school, etc., thanks for asking :) Thanks for your friday & weekend wishes, having a great one so far, hope you are too :D May blessings in abundance come to you & your lovely family also, thank you. Take care too &...
Melanie asked me the same question just the other day LOL
Here was my reply to her:
(Hope it helps you too)
You asked about how I do some of my lettering.
Most of the time, unless I am using a pre-made alphabet; I use a program called Print Master Platinum 2011.
I think I got it at either Target or Walmart for about $40.
I really like it because not only does it have lots of clip art, the program allows you to import your own graphics also.
But the best thing is the lettering. The program allows you to put "fills" inside the font that you are using. You just upload a texture, background or any kind of graphic and the program places the picture inside the text. From there you can enlarge, shrink or position the fill any way you like.
You can also bevel the text which makes it look raised.
(That's how I do the lettering on my fruit tags).
You can also add drop shadows or different types of outlines to the text.
I didn't know that the program had all the lettering options when I bought the program, so it was a nice surprise :) I had fun playing with it and learning the various options. It also helped that it is fairly user friendly.
Hope you are having a great day/night
