I can be masochistic, but usually because I think the result will be beneficiary to at least someone. In the end I'm usually wrong, but I've learned to live with that. ll After being let down so many times, it finally doesn't affect you as strongly as it did before, and the past just seems like a blur, though It still affects the present. I wouldn't change the past, in fear of changing my stance today. But I would rethink some of my careless actions and wistfully chosen mistakes.

When you put it into perspective, you realize that you can look at each day in two different ways: Either look at it as a day more of life, or a day closer to death.
