definitions of imps:Imps were often portrayed as lonely little creatures
always in search of human attention. They often used jokes
and pranks as a means of attracting human friendship,
which often backfired when people became tired or annoyed
of the imp's endeavors, usually driving it away.

Even if the imp was successful in getting the friendship i sought,
it often still played pranks and jokes on its friend,
either out of boredom or simply because this was the nature of
the imp. This trait gave way to using the term “impish” for
someone who loves pranks and practical jokes. Being associated
with hell and fire, imps take a particular pleasure from playing with temperatures.

To this end it came to be believed that imps were the familiar
spirit servants of witches and warlocks, where the little demons
served as spies and informants. During the time of the witch
hunts, supernatural creatures such as imps were sought out as
proof of witchcraft, though often the so called “imp” was
typically a black cat, lizard, toad or some other form of
uncommon pet.

the truth: Imps are not allways lonely and only do pranks when
they have nothing TO do. Imp's are also attractive unlike most folk lores they do not look ugly. they DO serve as servants or
slaves. Usually bought by ANY magical creature in the vast magical market(aka M.m or magi-market). Also they can control temeperatures in the room.

my part: I run a imp adopton center in the magi-market.
I have been lied to by many, many creatures and they have treated my imps horribly. Also i only let the ones who wish to serve
such creatures and the ones who wish to be left free-willed I
keep as my own but let them freely do as they wish at a small
area of land I own. many creatures not only witches and worlocs
try to adopt or buy off me are vampires,werewolfs,mermaids,demons
and human orginizations. The worst out of them all are the humans as they do tests on my imps and most of them they die. Thats
when I went hidden and kept to myself and my imps. But
i still allow people to adopt them but they must sighn forums
and have a match up test for the imp. If you wish to adopt
these wonderful creatures you may ask me but do remember
they are hig matanace and need lots of love and lots of
attention. besides that they are lovable and cute creatures
